This tea uses premium Yame tea from Hoshino Tea Garden, is renowned for its exceptional gyokuro tea production. Carefully crafted to bring out the delicate sweetness and umami of first-harvest tea leaves. The fresh aroma of amanatsu adds a light, citrusy note, making it especially enjoyable for summer.
It is perfect for cold brewing. Simply place one tea bag in 500ml of water and leave it in the refrigerator overnight. By morning, the refreshing fragrance of amanatsu and the mellow umami of Yame tea will be gently drawn out, creating a clean and layered cold brew sencha.
It can also be enjoyed hot, bringing out a clearer tea aroma and deeper umami that pairs beautifully with Japanese sweets such as daifuku. For a summer twist, steep it overnight in sparkling water to make a refreshing sparkling Yame tea.
